How it works

Which notes does it write?
CPT 97153 (RBT direct treatment), 97155 (BCBA protocol modification and supervision), 97156 (caregiver training) and 97151 / 97151-TS (assessment).
What does the documentation check look at?
A checklist for the note's CPT runs on the finished note. For a 97153 it checks that a behavior from the client's plan is named, the prompt level and the reinforcer are documented, the client's response follows every reinforcer, the client's observable response is described, the BCBA is not shown acting in an RBT session, and no non-reimbursable activity (such as homework) appears. You review the note before you copy it.
Does it make up session data?
It is built to write only from what you enter and from your client's own plan, without adding counts, durations or interventions you did not record. You review every note before you submit it. Your name is on it.
Will my notes look alike?
NoteCoach ABA compares each new note with your previous notes and warns you when the wording repeats too much, so you can generate it again before you submit it.
Is client data protected under HIPAA?
